About the Show

In 2015, Cailin received a Facebook message from a stranger who deemed her “almost hot.” A decade later, Cailin’s hour-long solo show cheekily interrogates and arbitrates one of our most pervasive but underexplored cultural concepts: hotness.

Cailin has performed Almost Hot to hot audiences in New York (at UCB, Caveat, and The Tank) and Los Angeles (at The Lyric Hyperion).

Audience Feedback

Group of people laughing and enjoying a comedy show in a dimly lit venue.
I was laughing and learning the entire time. I felt seen and also like we were seeing you. It was the perfect blend of wit, truth, silliness, and courage.
So funny, sharp, beautifully written, so well told. We had a blast… and were thoroughly entertained! Do it AGAIN! More people need to see this show.
[The show’s] words struck me and made me think and laugh… It was thrilling.
I laughed, I had moments of introspection, and I learned something about myself - that so much of how we see ourselves is purely a mental game. What a great reminder that I am the arbiter of my own hotness.
The show was so great. Insightful, smart, and funny. We loved it. It has a very bright future.
